Back into Welsh's world, and bloody hell, this guy is insane.

Those short stories were in the great majority incredible; so depressing and bleak, evoking mostly the same themes than Trainspotting.
Drugs, sex, Scotland, how pieces of shite people actually are, and what is the point of life.

All great and joyful subjects.
Reading Welsh usually goes two ways : either I get depressed and wonder what the actual fook we're doing here, or I just pity every character in the story and enjoy life even more.

For this one, it was a bit of both, depending on the day I was reading it.

Also, the scottish slang sure is one hell of a thing.. always takes me a while to get back into it, but I love it so much.
