god this book is amazing. i read this for a queer book club and I cannot wait to discuss this. this book pulled me out of a reading slump. i normally don't love historical fiction but this one is different. this book meant so much to me to hear about queer women finding love in a time that was so dangerous for queer people. this might be one of my favorite books now
