First off...if you are new to the Newbury and Hobbes world this probably isn't the book for you to start with.
The title of the book is The Casebook but it is more like a life progression of Newbury & Hobbes. George Mann uses this short story format to fill in the gaps of lives of Newbury and Hobbs. I loved that the stories followed a timeline, fully exploring the lives of our heroes.
