Sleeping Murder by Agatha Christie

5.0

Gwenda has been tasked with finding her and her husband a suitable house to start their life. It does not take long before the perfect abode is acquired, and Gwenda is surprised by how quickly she feels at home here. That comfort soon turns to fear as she recalls a murder that may have occurred. But how could she know such a thing? Who was the woman she had visions of? Miss Marple helps the young couple solve the ghost story and saves the day in her final novel. I really enjoyed Miss Marpleā€™s final case. It mixed a bit of horror into normal detective fiction and really kept one guessing till the end. While the finale was a bit anti-climactic for the buildup, I do feel it was a good last case for the elderly sleuth.
