A very comprehensive guide of what to tackle while revising and how to go about it. I loved how she divides each section, going from the major elements to revise (plot, stakes, setting) to micro edits like voice, show and tell, POV, etc. to the last step of line editing. Yates Martin explains how these elements should work and how to find what is lacking in your manuscript and how to fix them.
I recommend this book for any writer, at any stage. I knew most of what is discussed but having it all in a step-by-step format really helps make revising a novel much more streamlined. It also helps to make sure you cover all your bases and not miss anything. If you buy only one writing craft book, buy this one.
