Annie Dunne by Sebastian Barry
3.0
Overall a bit dull but enjoyable. There is very little in the way of story, but the lack of significant plot is not a weakness as this story is more about the development of the character. Unfortunately, that character is rather weak and uninteresting. The book is written well and creates sufficient tension and connection to make the characters important. However, the main character is oddly neurotic and comes across as both whiny and self-righteous somehow.
