Reclaiming Our Space: How Black Feminists Are Changing the World from the Tweets to the Streets by Feminista Jones

2.0

I think the concept for the book was interesting, but I was also not prepared to read as much about Twitter as this book contained. I personally found the descriptions of how people use Twitter to be kind of boring (and if I'm being honest, I found the writing style of the book itself quite boring and reading more like a college paper than an intriguing narrative) which, as a person who doesn't use Twitter much, was not really something I was into. There were definitely some good points about separating Black feminism from feminism, but they were not the sole focus of the book, which perhaps contributed to this lackluster interest.
