If you don’t like: multiple POVs, changes between 1st/3rd person, journal type books with a narrator but that also jumps into “normal book telling.” - you won’t like this.
I’m also not sure I did? The writing is beautiful & descriptive, but ultimately can’t fix the fact this is just… wow a lot. Normally all of those things don’t bother me but at times it was hard keeping track of who you were following.
It also felt like in Ocean’s 11 where they explain the plan and it takes like 5 mins, but then draaaaaag it out for 400 pages. That’s this book. I couldn’t even be hyped about when they left the school… because it was like reading an uninteresting manual that doesn’t give you all the details.
