Deadpool vs. Old Man Logan by Declan Shalvey

4.0

If I had a checklist of things I wanted to see in this book, everything would be marked off. But McGuffin, I mean Maddie, is a bitter pill to swallow. It doesn’t help that the boys’ characters change whenever they’re around her for the sake of furthering the plot. As far as devices go, Maddie was kind of a dud. However, the rhythm of the story, the really great fight scenes, the layout, the art, and the chemistry between Wolverine and Deadpool more than make up for the deficiencies in this book...which are basically the plot and some of the dialogue.
