The Tower of Swallows by Andrzej Sapkowski

3.0

I have such mixed feelings about this book, as I did about the previous one. As always the characters are strong and there’s some nice philosophy intertwined in the dialogue at times. But the writing is just so tedious. My suspicion is that the translation from Polish to English also contributes to the ‘vibe’ of the original not being conveyed fully. The language just feels very contrived at times, making for a bumpy reading experience. Have to say though; the action scenes are pretty amazing.
I’ll write my full review after reading the last volume in the story.
