Come Find Me by Megan Miranda

2.0

After reading All the Missing Girls last year I couldn't wait to get my hands on this one, sadly I didn't love it.

I'll be honest, I skimmed parts. Although I loved the characters (uncle Joe doing his best, sweet Nolan, and brazen Kennedy) the genre threw me off. This novel was far more sci-fi than I anticipated, I prefer my domestic thrillers and murder mysteries without the lingering questions concerning who (or what) might be out there.

I also felt like the conclusion about Mike was a bit hasty and undeveloped, but maybe that's just me. I wanted more, even just another paragraph or two. And I had similar feelings about the Elliot plot line. The ending felt unfinished. The lingering questions and thoughts I was left with aren't the pleasant and mind turning scenarios I enjoy tossing around in my mind late at night waiting for sleep to take me. I felt unsatisfied at the end.
