Life Ceremony by Sayaka Murata

5.0

Wouldn't it be wild if I say this is one of my fav books? Life Ceremony is her best work so far and I rarely like a short story collection, but if I had the time probably I would read it in one sitting.
My fav stories are Two's Family because it was so wholesome and I agree with the personality concept in Hatchling. Meanwhile Puzzle makes me uncomfortable and Eating the City felt tedious.
It begins with unhinged story but trust me the next stories get easier until you reached the story that makes it to the title. It's the epitome of revolting but also reflective in it's own way.
