The Immortal Rules by Julie Kagawa
4.0
I only have 2 reasons for giving this book a four instead of a five:
Reason #1 - I've noticed that the beginning of every book I've read by Kagawa has been slow and meagerly written. I found myself correcting her word choice at least once in every paragraph for the first 50 pages. She also repeats words quite frequently. But, after those first few pages, it's like she gets in a rhythm and her books always turn out AWESOME.
Reason #2 - The romance between Zeke and Allie was somewhat forced to me. It just didn't seem at all believable, and even though I was pulling for it from the time he was introduced until the end, I just didn't feel it when it finally happened.
Overall, amazing book. I can't wait for the sequel.
