The Baby Bargain by Jennifer Apodaca

I'm not sure how to rate this book. I really enjoyed most of it, but I was little annoyed with Adam being kind of wishy-washy on whether he was mad at Meg or not. Honestly, I don't think he had any right to know because he walked out without leaving her any contact info, and he could have contacted her just to see how she was (since he was constantly thinking about her). He didn't, and he also told her that he never wanted a family, so I totally understand why she didn't tell him. But in the book it was like one minute he was mad, but then the next he was over it, and that all just sort of fell to the wayside when the whole Lawrence thing came up. I just think either he's mad or he isn't, but if he is, it's not something he would just let drop and not even talk to her about it. She annoyed me too with her reation
Spoilerwhen Lawrence told her about Adam and Brody. She struggled that whole time, and then when she was saved, she panicked and froze?! Ummm... I don't think so. She could have at least answered Adam's question of whether she was ok before running off to chck on Cole. Her excuse for having to get to Cole was ridiculous too. I know you want to make sure you're kid is ok, but Lawrence walked through the freakin front door. You knew he didn't get to Cole, and you could have at least acknowledged Adam before taking off. Then to have the nerve to not even recognize why he left and that maybe he took your response to mean you didn't want anything to do with him after you heard about his brother and blame him again?! Very selfish!
