A Crown of Cruel Lies by Lana Pecherczyk

5.0

Still Wowzers

If you've read my other reviews on this series, you know I've been sky high praising these books since day one. Lana Pecherczyk delivers each time! Lana crafts a world where fae and humans both co-exist amongst themselves peacefully and as enemies. The constant wars between the two entities does not become a lax matter, it continues to thrive and pulse into a new identity, beckoning you to read it through fruition. This plot thickens, dives, and carries you into the final epic battle that is rearing it's head.

Aeron is a war-honed elf Guardian of The Order who lost his hearing and with that his extra powers. He experiences self-loathing at it's darkest while trying to make sense of why the Well no longer responds to the Fae like it once did. On his mission to find answers, he finds his Well-Blessed Mate in a human woman by the name of Trix, aka The Tinker from Crystal City.

Through self education they learn to speak, Trix teaches Aeron sign language and together they find answers to the issue to the Well, albeit also finding more questions.
