At times the book was slow and I found the love square annoying.
Both Nadids had to have a relationship with Muntadhir? He's was an OK character. At one point Nahri describes him as a "good man," guess I missed the part where he was good. Also, she's  married to one brother (who her brother/cousin is in love with) while falling in love with the other brother annoyed me. In an entire world there was no other characters besides the brothers for a relationship? Would have preferred Ali and Nahri as just friends or maybe don't marry her off to Ali's brother? The rest of the book was entertaining.
