Reckless Road by Christine Feehan

4.0

Let's start out by saying that Christine Feehan is one of my favourite authors.

Gedeon 'Player' Lazaroff is a member of Torepedo Ink, and we know like all the rest his past has lead him to be the rough, tough, trauma filled man. He's running out of time and he needs rest before he decides what to do. Incomes Zyah who seduces Player with every word and move. They spend a night together that is pure and honest yet Player believes it was all a dream.

I enjoyed the overall story like with the painting and break ins and actually found it was the more interesting part of the book. Anat is one of the best characters in the whole series and her relationships with the other members of Torepedo Ink, in particular Destroyer and Savage. I really appreciated and enjoyed that we got to understand more about Destroyer and Alena. I hope we get his story.

The romance between Zyah and Player was weirdly one of my least favourite things about this story. It just wasnt clicking like the others. It was a good story and different from the others. What I did think was great was the Hannah Drake and Jonas Harrington scenes. They are two of my favourite characters within in this world and it was great to have them back. It was also great to see the surprising friendship blossoming between Player and Hannah.

Admittedly this book took me longer than the others but it did make me cry which is always a possibility with this world.
