Shadows of the Lost Sun by John Parke Davis, Carrie Ryan

4.0

i NEVER TRUSTED that man. I NEVER TRUSTED HIM.

*ahem*

The plot thickens, wild and wacky hijinks appears, and some really impressively intense stuff about the nature of personhood, real strength, a duty towards truth, and what it is appropriate to sacrifice to save someone you care for, all make their appearance.

Also a menacing and sentience mollusc who infects sailors with stories and binds them to itself with living ink.

Middle Grade is the grade, you guys.
