Vibration by Lainey Davis
4.0
Note: I purchased the audio during Davis’s Kickstarter last month. As of 5/1/2023 it’s currently available via KoboPlus.
This is book 4 in the Brady Family series by Lainey Davis. While you can enjoy this on its own, I think it’s best enjoyed after the previous books.
I have to admit, I was a little worried that Davis wouldn’t be able to redeem the affable but rudderless and seemingly self-centered Cal. I shouldn’t have been though. Between realizing he was often misunderstood and the way he matures over the rest of the book - I ended up loving him. I like how he and Logan were opposites who smoothed out each other’s prickly edges.
The accidental roommate setup was a lot of fun and these two navigating a tricky situation made for tons of laughs.
I’m ready for Orla’s book, Current.
Narration:
Carly Robbins & Tom Taylorson continue to be a blast to listen to - it's so much fun as they bring Davis’s characters to life. Logan and Cal are such distinct characters and they both did a terrific job.
