This is one of my favourite Poirot mystery’s. I love that Christie took the time to give Poirot a gripping send off. That being said, it was hard to say goodbye to a characters I have played detective with through over 45 novels. I love that she bought it back to where it all began, Styles. I really liked all the characters in this one. The ending was a shock and you don’t see it coming. Poirot and his little grey cells have done it again. It really does wrap things up in a spectacular way. Adieu mon ami. Although (plot twist) I haven’t completely finished with Poirot yet, I have all the short stories to read and I kind of wished I left this one until the very end.
