The Truths We Hold: An American Journey by Kamala Harris
informative
reflective
slow-paced

This is exactly what I would expect from a Senator or District Attorney’s book. The book is broken into 10 chapters, so buckle up for each one to be long and at times confusing. I enjoyed when Kamala went into personal anecdotes that revealed more about her on an emotional level, but those were few and far between. I would’ve liked to see her become more vulnerable. This book was published Pre-COVID, Pre-Vice Presidency, and now Pre-Running as the nominee for Democrats, so I’ll be awaiting another book.
