Glass Houses by Rachel Caine
5.0
Glass Houses is engaging from the moment you read page one. Morganville is a college town with a deep dark secret, there town has a lot to be wary about the town is ran by vampires who offer protection to its citizens. For an early admitted student named Claire she stumbles upon this when she makes an enemy out of one of the Morganville citizens named Monica who is set out to destroy Claire leading Claire to the Glass house and its residents.
No matter how many times I read this book I will never get tired of meeting the members of the glass house they are amazing each single one of them living as misfits in the town. You have Michael who mysteriously gone during the day, Eve the friendly Goth and Shane the sarcastic but protective one. Claire’s character develops more as she moves into the Glass house and she develops as a character who becomes courageous, smart and cunning as she lives in dangerous maze of Morganville.
The characters and storyline of Glass Houses had its hooks in me the moment I finished Chapter One. I love this book the characters are amazing in which any person who don’t feel like they belong can relate to them whether it as Shane, Claire, Michael or Eve. The story line is fast paced filled with kindness, mystery, destruction, arson, and vampires. The end of this book nearly destroyed me when I read it if I hadn’t read the books before.
