I absolutely devoured this book, it is one of my favourite books that I've read recently. I think I connected with it so much because the second person narrative is quite similar to the style of writing I often adopt. I loved how lyrical the prose was at times, I think that style is so effective at giving us an insight into the complicated internal conflicts of a person working out who they are, what they want, how they feel about events witnessed, where they fit in the world.
