The Annihilator by RuNyx
5.0
‘One day, she would be an inferno, and he would be the devil who controlled it.’
This book is dark, probably the darkest yet in this series so please read the trigger warnings.
Meeting Layla and experiencing her trauma and PTSD touched my soul. She is so incredibly strong yet vulnerable and her inner monologue is so raw this made her character really come to life for me.
The plot was fast paced and everything we love in a dark mafia romance book.
We had obsession, found family, forced proximity (kinda) and a devil saviour.
Dainn has piercings and mismatched eyes, need I say more?!
The spice was on point as per usual and the character development for Layla was everything.
I loved how the plot tied together all the lose ends and set us up perfectly for the final book which I am eager to be released! This book took me longer than usual to read, mostly because I didn’t want to say goodbye to the world, even if it is for a short time, until the final book is released.
