A House of Ghosts by William Ryan, W.C. Ryan

slow-paced

3.0

I think the pacing of this book was what killed it for me. I thought I was going into a murder mystery with majority of the time being spent on finding a culprit. What I got instead was a slow paced story with characters who I could barely keep up with because they weren't well established and differentiated from each other. Besides being able to recognise the Highmount names in addition to Kate and Donovan, I couldn't really figure out who was who in the rest of this slow slow book.
