I love Brando Sando but I did not love this book. I may have gotten spoiled by Mistborn and Stormlight, but there was much more telling than showing us a plot that was much more simplistic than his others. I wanted to know more about the characters and their motivations, and I get that they're in an underground rebel group and they can't talk about their personal lives because *espionage* but there were almost 400 pages in this book and I feel like I should know these people better. I should especially know more about Tia and Megan, who were less fleshed out than their male counterparts (except that we know Megan is *ahem* very appealingly fleshed out in all the places that 'matter').
It made sense but felt hollow. Not sure if I'll continue the series or not.
