The Stonecutter by Camilla Läckberg

2.0

I haven't read many thrillers but I found this one rather boring. The characters were all rather dull, and it felt as if the story was just dragging on, never getting anywhere. And there were too many things going on at once: there were so many characters that I continuously found myself confused who I was reading about. The only interesting parts, in my opinion, were the ones set in the 1900s which told of Agnes and her life. Although I find it hard to believe that one person can be so incredibly selfish and evil as she was, reading about her was at least more entertaining than reading about Patrik's drawn-out interrogations and the other modern characters' complicated relationship problems. It gets better towards the end, though. A little bit more intriguing, but still not quite becoming interesting.
