Following my updated rating system: 3 means the book is good, just not for me.
I just felt like it was a never ending story about not much. I was 75% in and still couldn’t tell what was happening and considering how high the stakes are in this book, the fact that it didn’t grip me is surprising. So, I can only guess that something in the storytelling didn’t work out for me this time.
