How to Take Smart Notes: One Simple Technique to Boost Writing, Learning and Thinking – for Students, Academics and Nonfiction Book Writers by Sönke Ahrens

3.0

The idea behind the book is good (or seems so: I have maintained personal notes for many years, and will try to reorganise them following some of the principles), but there is a certain lack of practical examples for different situations. Also, the writing is not specially thrilling. Compare Epstein's Range, a similarly "dry" subject with superb writing. All in all, I like having read the book, but I'm unlikely to ever re-read it.
