Thank you Random House for the free book. I'm continuing to really enjoy the more focused storytelling of the second High Republic phase, and this is one of the most fluid page-turners to come out of the franchise in the Disney era. Putting a legit cult into Star Wars continues to pay off for this phase, and we all must stan the underutilized Master Yaddle. It's really tough to make large-scale battles play as well on the page as they do on the screen, and in this case that does bog the book's final third down, but all in all this is a superb story with gratifying character development.
