"De kroon en de droom" is an enjoyable book that reads quickly. It delves deeper into the past and lives of various characters, adding depth to the overall story. I appreciated getting to know more about the different backstories, which made the characters feel more real and relatable.
However, I was a bit disappointed that the horses played a smaller role and were mentioned less frequently compared to the previous book. The story is packed with family drama and a lot of events happening at once, which sometimes made it a bit challenging to keep track of everything. Despite this, the open ending was a nice touch, leaving me eager to see what happens next in the series.
Overall, it's a solid read with engaging characters and an intriguing plot, even if it does have a few minor drawbacks.
