Do yourself a favour and stay away from this book.
The advice in here cost me a perfectly good relationship (I blame the book at least partially though my own insecurities that lead me to following this advice are not blameless either).
Yes, it is important to set boundaries in a relationship, but commonsense will serve you much better. I can now see that this book is full of internalised misogyny. Very unfortunate.
