Taken at the Flood by Agatha Christie

2.0

They really fixed this with the David Suchet version because the original has some questionable choices.
Firstly I never ever want to read the words 'she's asking for it' i don't care how old the book is.

I think we are meant to sympathise with Lynne but hell no, she is not a good character and the ending of this like what?? We are supposed to believe that Poirot is not going to say anything about this guy killing people when Poirot almost notoriously never stays quiet. Maybe if this was some great love story but the heroine cheats on her murdering partner, then decides she does want 'boring' after all when she finds out the guy she cheated with also killed someone??? what is the difference? I'm lost? And then her initial partner tries to strangle her to death and this is when she realises he's the one from her??? WTF? You can't tell me I'm supposed to root for these two and Poirot is out of his damn mind for not sending everyone to JAIL.
