First book of the year!! Wahoo!
I’m happy I gave this series another shot. I really did enjoy it in audiobook a lot more than a physical copy which is super strange considering I usually don’t like audiobooks at all (maybe 2019 will be the year I listen to more).
I was interested in what would happen next, and it felt a bit better than the first book though had a lot less action involved. If I had read this physically I’d probably feel it would be difficult to keep reading (considering how political and plot based it is). I want to keep listening to these audiobooks and hope to finish them all within a few months 😊
Side note: I ship Cleo and Magnus as well as Laelia and Jonas.
Also Nick with that one person who kissed him but won’t say who because spoilers and maybe I shouldn’t ship it because it seems it may be from a negative reasoning but that kiss!! Ugh made me gasp.
Long story short; this series makes me feel a whole lot of emotions.
