I'm not going to lie, I chose to read this one because of the cover. I just love it, that's point number one. Point number two: this was whimsical and it's exactly what it promises to be, a humorous fantasy story.
The thing is that the humor is not my style and it just wasn't for me, so I couldn't have as much fun with the story as it wanted me to. That said, it was entertaining, adventurous, and purposefully odd, which was very interesting to explore.
I can see a lot of people enjoying this book more than I did just because vibing with the humor is so important to vibing with the story itself. So, I would encourage anyone interested in this genre to give this one a try!
