objectively, this wasn’t terrible but i also just didn’t like it. it was too repetitive, and i found myself constantly skipping pages trying to get to the good stuff that never happened. i wouldn’t necessarily call it a thriller, either, because it had none of the fun components of one.

overall, this wasn’t bad by any means but it could’ve been so much better, and way more entertaining and intriguing. maybe it was just a me thing, though, because i’m seeing a lot of high praise.
