Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo
5.0
Wow...why haven’t I re-read this book sooner?!
There’s so much to love about Six of Crows, but some of the things that stuck out to me on this re-read were:
1) The detailed worldbuilding that adds depth to every aspect of the book
2) The heist itself, which is engaging and delightfully chaotic. I particularly love the balance of plot and character backstory throughout the heist (I also just love a good heist plot)
3) The incredibly unique and well-developed characters! Though I enjoy the plot of this story, the characters are easily my favorite part of the book. I appreciate that the story is largely character-driven, and I just really love getting to know these characters
4) The humor! Seriously I forgot how much fun this book is
5) The multiple POVs. I enjoyed reading about these characters both from others’ perspectives and their own perspectives
This is definitely one of my favorites!
