Never Say Die by Tess Gerritsen
4.0
Willy Maitland goes on a quest to Vietnam to find her father who has been missing since the war at the behest of her dying mother. She has no idea what she'll find, if he's dead or alive. Navigating the waters of military and foreign politics proves to be even more difficult than she thought. Guy Barnard is also searching for someone - and that someone may or may not be Willy's father. Guy can't help but feel responsible for the attractive woman, and offers to work together. Unfortunately, wherever Willy goes, people die. While they search for the missing Maitland, the two fall in love, though neither is willing to admit to those feelings.
I loved the rich, vibrant setting, and enjoyed the characters. I recommend this book for readers who enjoy action and adventure with a dash of romance.
