I wasn't sure what to expect from this book, but I really enjoyed it! It was an intriguing, funny yet tense, clever whodunnit mystery that had me mostly guessing until the end. There were so many stereotypical mystery novels directions the author could have taken the story so it was nice not being able to figure out every single twist and turn. The characters were all interesting, some loveable, others not.

If you listen to the audiobook, it's one to pay attention to, not simply have on in the background. It's fast-paced spanning over only a couple days, with several flashbacks and lots of characters, so it's easy to lose which character is talking or being talked about if you're not fully focused. The narration was done really well and who doesn't like listening to someone with an Australian accent?!

If you like mysteries that are light on suspense, and have a bit of humor mixed in, this is a great read/listen that I definitely recommend!
