I love the characters in this series. Nothing fancy...everyday kind of people with a few interesting characters thrown in. No perfect homes, lives etc. The murders are skillfully crafted and keep you guessing until near the end. The setting is on a Cranberry Farm near Lake Michigan and I love the local feel that author gives the stories.
