A Midsummer's Nightmare by Kody Keplinger

4.0

It seems like Kody Keplinger has a type, girl with Daddy and Mommy issues because her parents divorced, love interest with similar issues too. I liked this better than the DUFF mostly because I feel like it had more of a plot to it than two people with issues and "hate" each other having a benefits relationship, that said I have a special place in my heart for it because I'm biased towards a character who shares the same name as me. I loved Nathan, a hot nerd/dork who also is an athlete all the more better. I feel like Nathan's past should have been focused on more though. Overall it was pretty good, one aspect I liked better in the DUFF was that Bianca and Wesley spent more time together and they talked a lot more. Talking about them they cameo in this book and Wesley's gay best friend becomes Whitley's best friend.
