Alright, I actually do have a more coherent opinion on this post book club meeting.
This felt like several different stories that didn't quite mesh together. There were a lot of really interesting concepts and elements that I just felt didn't ever reach their full potential. I will say that the dialogue, looking back, is very real and incredibly funny. There's some great character work going on here. I just wish the whole thing was just a bit more focused. It felt like it didn't quite know what it was trying to be.
