Re-read. So good, and still a favorite, even second time around. The first part of the book is more backstory but gives such a good glimpse at how difficult saving someone from slavery and trauma can be. The second part is high energy and intense. All with such moving messages of belonging and never giving up on those who are lost.

Very few books make me tear up but this one did. So much profound and deep truth, and such a moving story, the whole series.
