Thank God It's Monday!: How to Create a Workplace You and Your Customers Love by Roxanne Emmerich

2.0

I wanted to like this book, and it has some great thoughts about how someone should conduct herself while grinding through the work week. Ultimately, though, this book is just too theoretical to be either worthwhile or interesting. There is no data and conversations in the book are laughable. That's to say nothing of the parable of the business owner who wouldn't take his customers' advice, and wound up divorced four times, filing for bankruptcy three times, and dying at the age of 65 while living penniless at his daughter's house. Take heed, corporate workers!
