I was looking for something to fill the void that CC3 left behind and boy oh boy did I find it! I’m a sucker for a good ol’ enemies-to-lovers romantasy, and this one really had an extra edge to it. Also I feel like so much happened that I should be like 3 books into the series, but in a good way.

Let me just say that while I saw where some things were going throughout the book, I definitely did NOT see that Brennan would still be alive??? Not sure how I feel about that, tbh.
