مختصر تاريخ الأديان by Richard Holloway

5.0

This book is a fantastic primer for anyone interested in the study of world religions or anyone, like me, fascinated by the points of view of other religions. The book summarizes the origins of religions from around the world--major and minor, recent and historic--and highlights the commonalities and key differences that they have with each other. As someone who identifies as a Lutheran believer, I appreciated how Holloway's parallel-drawing, insights, and conclusions did not swing either in the direction of theism or atheism, but encouraged the reader to make their own opinion and gave them the words to form whatever opinion they so chose.
