I have had a few of Marni Mann's books on my TBR for forever & I was finally able to read one (well listen since it was an audiobook). First, let me say that the audiobook version - the narrators killed this - they were both very expressive. A few times they had me blushing with the dialogue. Great pick for the narrators for this book.
I really enjoyed this book. It was spicy, funny, and I was hooked. I loved that the FMC was a strong/independent/successful woman and was able to focus on her goals and dreams - even if it met putting her love life on hold. However, this book is a good reminder if it is meant to be it will happen. This is a second chance book & I am always not a huge fan of second chances but this was not because of drama or cheating. It was just due to it not being the right time. I definitely recommend this book, especially the audio version.
