"The Blue-Eyed Devil" is the first book in the Devil's Lair series by Beena Khan. The book is lightly based on the myth of Lucifer and Eve and has an angel vs demon and mafia trope. The book centers around Ehva Rossi, a religious woman who studies law and has an unfaithful boyfriend, and Salvi Moretti, a devil who enters Ehva's life under unfortunate circumstances. Ehva is a good woman. She's innocent and kind and does not suspect Salvi of being a bad person, however, Salvi has revenge-seeking motives.

If you enjoy Italian mafia books, then this series is for you. Readers will hate how much they love Salvi even though he has devious motives. I enjoyed the plot and the steam between the characters is off the charts. The dual POV was written in a unique way and the book ends with an interesting cliffhanger.
