In a Dark Dark Wood is a thriller novel set in England. Nora is invited to a bachelorette weekend for her former best friend. Despite not having spoken to her for over a decade, Nora decides to go for old times’ sake. Surprise, surprise, it’s a mistake!
This story took forever to get going. I did not even begin liking this book until 45% in. A major reason for this is there are zero likable characters. Even our main character is dull as shit. Once something finally happens the story picks up from there and the second half did a much better job at holding my attention.
