This story is definitely best read by those who don't know the story. I was most familiar with the first 40% (roughly?), and after that, it was all new to me. I had to do research to see if the second half of the book was made up by the author, or if it was based on the myths too. That first half was kind of boring because it simply felt like a refresher, nothing new being written about. But that second half... not knowing the stories that followed the second half of the book is what saved the ratings for me. Being unaware and learning this part of the story. It's definitely a slow story and filled with nothing but drama (what else can you expect from the Greeks) so if you have the patience and you don't know much about the myths, read it
